The DrPH Coalition will be holding their annual conference virtually via Zoom titled “Powered Up! Leading Change for Public Health” on July 12th and 13th with keynote speaker, Dr. Tomas Aragon, DrPH, MD, the California State Health Officer. There will be panels on policy making and building collective power with esteemed guests, as well as workshops about writing effective policy memos and op-eds, networking opportunities and more! The goal of the 2023 Annual Conference is to empower DrPHer’s to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health policy to achieve health equity and racial justice.
The DrPH Coalition was established in 2019 with the mission: “to create a community of Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) students and alumni (referred to as “DrPHers”) who leverage their expertise, diversity, and creativity for the advancement of the public’s health.”
